“The good news is that no matter how the nervous system has been shaped, the capacity for moving out of protection and returning to connection is built into our biology.” -Deb Dana
My Learning/ Unlearning Commitment
Like you, I am an engaged and curious individual observing & feeling the significant shifts and revolutions around us. I am committed to participating in ongoing learning and unlearning opportunities, understanding my blind spots, barriers, internalized ableism, and privileges. I listen to and want to amplify marginalized voices. I am interested in changing patterns, breaking cycles, and sending positive dynamics into the world.
Currently, I am delving deeper into I-CBT, neurobiology, and decolonizing therapy.
To learn more about my personal and professional journey, please see the About section.

Approach
“Together, we can integrate the ‘logic’ of your thoughts with the ‘wisdom’ of your biology.”
My therapeutic approach is supportive, honest, engaging, collaborative, inclusive, strength-based, and client-centered.
I view our relationship as a partnership that builds on your strengths while respecting your unique needs, interests, and personal journey.
I believe forming connections with others can promote growth, though these connections may look different for each person.
The safe space we create in therapy will be rooted in my respect for your lived experiences, neurotype, nervous system, sensory profiles, identities, gifts, skills, and interests.
I am interested in exploring the adaptation and integration of multiple theories and approaches while respecting your individual neurological and neurobiological needs.
At the start of our work, I offer to introduce nervous system education and explore ways to foster a positive relationship with your whole self, using approaches such as adapted Polyvagal Theory, the Safe and Sound Protocol, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and different bottom-up approaches.
Understanding how your biological operating system functions—how your brain is wired and your nervous system is conditioned also helps identify areas where your life may be out of harmony. This self-exploration fosters neuroplasticity that can result in new responses, radical self-acceptance, and self-trust, and thus serves as an essential guide for life.
Together, we can integrate the ‘logic’ of your thoughts with the ‘wisdom’ of your biology.
I can also help access additional connections outside of our sessions. I enjoy resource research (it is a special interest!) and can always provide leads on additional therapies, communities, support groups, coaching, or interest-based networks. I believe we grow in secure connection with aligned others, even if we do not consider ourselves “social” or like “people-ing” very much.
Currently, all psychotherapy sessions are conducted online via video. To ensure maximum security and confidentiality during electronic communication, I use:
- DOXY.me for online video therapy
- HUSHMAIL for secure email
- IVY Pay for contactless payments via text
I will share detailed instructions for each platform during your intake.

Rate & Payment Process (Self-Pay, No Insurance Involvement)
Psychotherapy is a commitment and an investment in yourself that can profoundly transform you and your life. However, this work is not available or a fit for everyone.
I return all inquiries because I know how difficult it is to reach out and how much an informed referral can help in the dense wilderness of quality mental health care.
Payment is due immediately after a session via card through IVY Pay.
IVY Pay is a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment platform designed by therapists to protect client confidentiality. You do not need to download an app to use this feature; just a cell phone with text. You have complete control over payments and can review all payment history through the text message receipt. No credit card information will be stored without permission.
Please check here for rate updates, or reach out if you have further questions about the information below.
Intake Session (90 Min): $225 | No reduced rate available
Standard 60 Minute Session: $150 | Reduced Rate $100
Optional 90 Minute Session: $225 | Reduced Rate $175
Optional 120 Min Session: $300 | Reduced Rate $250
A couple of reduced-rate slots are available every season for clients who are unable to pay the full session fee. These are reassessed every three months.
If this is not a fit, please contact me, and we can see if another service would be a better fit.
A Note About Insurance
As of 2023, I operate as a self-pay-only provider. Insurance companies were not compatible with my practice style or my clients’ goals. This means I do not work with insurance or issue “superbills’ for reimbursement. Clients pay after each session and receive an electronic receipt via IVY Pay.
I support clients’ rights to use insurance and respect their choices. I am dedicated to helping clients understand their options, connecting them with suitable resources, and offering accessible, personalized services while respecting my professional and practice boundaries.
I launched Connections Consultation as an alternative to traditional psychotherapy, providing a more accessible way to gain education and support.
Please consider exploring it if my psychotherapy services do not suit your needs.
What is a Good Faith Estimate (GFE), and why is it important?
You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) that details your psychotherapy costs. Under the No Surprises Act, providers must give clients paying out of pocket an estimate of their charges. In addition to providing you with a GFE, we will also regularly discuss costs.
For questions or more information about your right to a GFE, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 978-380-3092.
Contact
If my style and focus area seem like a good fit, please call me at 978-380-3092 and leave a detailed voicemail as instructed.
You may also send me a secure note from my Contact Page.
I will respond to your inquiry within 48 hrs (M-F), and we will set up a time to briefly connect to confirm the fit and schedule, and to review the intake and paperwork process.
I look forward to connecting with you!
Confidentiality Note: If you choose to use text to initiate contact, please be aware that it is not a protected or secure means of communication. Please keep the text brief and free of personally identifying information. We can text to coordinate, but a brief phone call will be required to schedule any services.
