Connections Consultation

I developed Connections Consultation as an alternative and a protest against our one-size-fits-all wellness & productivity hustle culture. In this space you can get curious at your own pace, without shame or pressure. Here you are encouraged to explore your curiosities and uncertainties and map out a direction that aligns to you.

I do not claim to be “the expert” on the topics I consult, but rather an informed human with lived experience, wisdom, and perspective to share.

Most importantly, I can be an informed co-regulator. I know what it’s like to be a seeker on the information overload superhighway of life.

Please know I have chosen these consultation topics with great care and intention, all are subject to change as I do. Before making an inquiry, please review the FAQ below.

Connections Consultation FAQ

How is Connections Consultations different than psychotherapy?

Consultation services are time-limited and focused on providing specific education and informed recommendations. During our time together, I will be clear about this boundary, flag items that are better suited to another space, and provide referrals as needed.

Who can access Connections Consultation?
  • You are at least 21 years old and are located in Massachusetts.
  • You are looking for specific education and resources on a topic I provide.
  • You’re NOT interested in engaging in my psychotherapy services.
  • You are already working with another psychotherapist/coach but would like to gain focused education and resources to complement that work.

Per MA LMHC legal and ethical guidelines, I cannot provide consultation services to any current psychotherapy client. If you are a current psychotherapy client interested in a topic below, just let me know, and we can incorporate this education into a session.

What is “You Set The Rate“?

I am passionate about sharing this education with anyone interested. Therefore, I am offering a “You Set The Rate” approach to this service.

The rate range for a one-time consultation is $25 – $100.

When we schedule, we will review what you are willing to pay and coordinate from there.

I do ask for a pre-payment before the meeting, which we will coordinate via IVY Pay during our scheduling call. No proof of income is required.

What can I expect from a Connections Consultation?

Each consultation call is 60-90 minutes, depending on your interest.

I will welcome you to the meeting by reviewing the consultation guidelines and your communicated interest. I will provide support, education, feedback, and informed recommendations with space for reflection and questions.

In addition to the time together, you may request a follow-up letter summarizing my recommendations.

Consultation meetings can be provided through phone or video. I use a confidential video platform called DOXY that enables screen sharing, whiteboard, and document sharing.

How do I schedule?

I. Select a Consultation Topic

Review the Connections Consultation List and copy the title into my Secure Contact Form.

You can book as many consultation meetings as you like (feel free to use one request form). If you would like to book more than one meeting, scheduling them on separate days is recommended to ensure dedicated focus on each topic.

II. Submit the Secure Contact Form

The content you send will go to a private and secure email. If there are any issues with the process or you have any other questions, please call me at 978-380-3092.

III. Confirm & Consent

After receiving your inquiry, I will text/email you within 72 hrs (weekdays only) to confirm your interest and schedule a brief call to discuss scheduling and payment.

I will then send you a secure email with the Connections Consultation Policy and Payment Consent. The electronic consent form must be completed before our scheduling & payment call. A consultation meeting can not be held without this consent.

IV. Scheduling & Payment Call

I will call at our scheduled time to briefly review your interest and, if appropriate, schedule the consultation meeting. I reserve the right to decline the consultation call request if this service is not a fit for my scope of practice, knowledge, or your areas of interest. I’ll schedule at my discretion and provide other recommendations when appropriate.

Once the meeting is scheduled, the payment will be run using your card and IVY Pay. Prepaying for this meeting is a common practice that allows me to begin preparing material for our appointment. A receipt from IVY Pay will be sent to your phone immediately after payment.

V. Attended Consultation Meeting

Sign in to Doxy (www.doxy.me/cottage205) or accept the call at our scheduled date and time.

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel (24 hours is preferred). I will work with you to reschedule our time, but I cannot offer a refund.

After the consultation, you can access your robust personalized resource list at your convenience.
